This notice describes our Terms & Conditions Policy
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on ourbsites. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future use. I will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions. Your statutory rights are not affected.
1. Description of Goods
As all the products that I sell are of a aesthetical nature it is not practical to publish detailed specifications of all the products. All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. All specifications given to the Customer are approximate and intended as a guide only. I do not accept responsibility for any preparation work based on such specifications.
2. Accuracy of Product Information
Our intention is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, I cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. Any action taken by the user of this website remain the responsibility of the individual. As a handmade aesthetic artefact sizes specified on the website are subject to slight variation. As a craftsman, my artefacts under go a constant process of refinement, as it is our nature to try and improve on the one that I made before. As such I reserve the right to change product specification without prior notice.
3. Payment and Price
The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. All prices on the website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order, unless stated otherwise. All prices for bespoke or customised artefacts will be quoted for based on the specification laid down by the customer and delivery charges.
4. Our contract and acceptance of your order
When you place an order to purchase a product, I will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase an artefact, this offer is accepted by us when I send you an e-mail confirming that I have dispatched that product to you (the “Dispatch Confirmation E-mail”). That acceptance will be complete at the time I send the Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to you. Any products on the same order, which I have not confirmed as dispatched in the Dispatch Confirmation E-mail, does not form part of that contract.
5. Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, Ishall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price prior to acceptance of your order.
6. Availability of Goods
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If I do not supply the goods for any reason I will not charge you for these and I will refund any money already paid for them.
The simplest & quickest way of paying for your order is via the website which uses the PayPal method of payment. If this is not convenient for you then please contact me direct as it is possible to pay using electronic bank to bank payment (BACs) or cheque. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to take credit card payment.
8. Delivery Charges
The charges for our delivery will be quoted separately and varies according to the artefact purchased. You are not required to use our delivery service and can arrange to collect the items from us for a discount. Please contact us for further information.
9. Acceptance of delivery
As soon as I have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. I will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. I accept no liability whatsoever in respect to late deliveries.
Damage in transit must be checked for damage at point of delivery and refused if signs of damaged. If goods, when unpacked, are found to be in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier’s delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us within a reasonable period of time, which I will typically deem to be 48 hours from delivery.
Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier’s delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within a reasonable period of time, which I will typically deem to be 48 hours from delivery.
Incorrect Goods: It is your responsibility to notify us of any in-correct goods supplied within a reasonable period of time, which I will typically deem to be 48 hours from delivery.
10. Product Guarantees
All products supplied are guaranteed for a period of 12 months. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or faults that can not be confirmed have not been caused by incorrect installation. In addition routine maintenance, if needed, is not covered. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have.
11.Terms of Guarantee your satisfaction with our products
If there is damage, fault or defect in the artefact supplied to you or not to the specification you required then please inform me of the problem within 7 days of reciept of the artefact. Once the purchaser has returned the artefact it will be inspected & if found to be a valid problem and the artefact is in the same condition as it was supplied to the customer then I will refund or exchange the piece (excluding bespoke or customised artefacts).
12. Returns of Bespoke or Customised Artefacts
I do not hold any stock of these artefacts as they are made to order specifically for you, they are therefore exempt from distance selling regulations. I am therefore only able to accept returns if they are faulty. Once I have started work on a cut to size mirror, the order cannot be cancelled.
13.Delivery dates
I am proud of the reputation I have for the high quality and timely delivery service we provide. However, please note that all delivery dates given are always provisional. I must stress even with a confirmed delivery date, you are strongly advised not to pre-book contractors, or engage in any preparatory work until such time as you have all your goods and are happy that they are correct as ordered and damage free. I accept no liability whatsoever in respect to late deliveries.
14. Refusal of Transaction
I reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this website. I may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. I will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this website whether or not that product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
To be eligible to purchase products on this Website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this website under English law you must:
- Register by providing your real name, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and other requested information
- Stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom. Please note that PO box numbers, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable
- Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us
- By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information. Including any updated information about your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
