Description
This ornate Gothic arched overmantle is adapted from an icon frame that I was commissioned to make for a cathedral and I felt it was too good a design to waste so I reworked it into a decorative wall mirror design for my arched mirror collection. The curving geometry of its ogee arch and flanking pinnacles makes this a quintessential Gothic mirror and distinguishes it from any other arched wall mirrors. To pick out the lines of these decorative mirrors I’ve gone for an authentic true to period mixed gilded leaf & paint finish.
As a hand made mirrors they can be commissioned as made to measure mirrors and/or finished according to your requirements.
